Description

Fleeting moments like glittery beads,
So many before me have gone.

A shadowy trail, and deeper it leads,
I follow and let it come.

---------
Forgot to mention: Photoshop 7 and mouse
..............
Oh, and one more thing: the grass is supposed to be like half way up her knee, but it doesn't quite look so (as I found out). I don't know if I can make it credible...

oh, and did you ever consider using unsharpen mask on this image? I bet it would give it a crisper look without losing the fantasy look to it

Very nice illustration indeed!

Only thing I noticed is that her arms seems to be a bit short, but overall it's a lovely work. +8

I agree with the arms being a tad on the shorter side; I think her legs should be a *teeny* bit longer, aswell.

She has a lovely face, and your shading is awesome. I also like the details, such as the lock and chain at the bottom right. Very nice!

Wow, the mood here is perfect. Seriously, staring at this work gave my stomach butterflies. It's some kind of gothic/melancholic/dreamy atmosphere here which I love. Makes me think back to when I was a child and played hide and seek in the forest at night. I never knew who or what was hiding between those trees...

Enough about that. Her body seems to be too short. It might be some perspective issues about her walking up a hill, but it doesnt' work very well in my oppinion. Either that, or her head is slightly too big. Anyway it's a good work... you are very talented for your age.
+9/10 ;)

Made some changes. Thank you all guys for the advice. I really couldn't detect the flaws myself. Made the skirt longer, since it seemed like her legs ended at the same point. Also, the left shoulder was more than a bit awkward. The head is now smaller too.
Special thanks to  kinnas! : )

Agree with SandaS =)
I think, that the bottom part of a body of the girl too short.
Raven not alive, wooden has left.
but very nice mood, as a whole - good work!

God job and theme, but yes, he looks a little bit like Toulouse Lautrec ^^. I'm happy with thinking that the grass is tall and wild. Congratulations anyway !

Good composition and mood, for me, she's standing up and the grass is very "tall". I love how you did the fog and little flowers!

Excellent mood and great background. Her hands looks a bit cramped. The frontmost crow is wonderful. :)

This is really nice. You must have put a ton of work into it. Great work with the fog, and the subtle spiky gates. The grass looks really good too (It looks like the grassy brush that comes with Photoshop, with highlighting done to it...if so, that's a really good use of it). I've been looking at some of your other work as well...really cool style.

Excellent work. I love the atmospher you have going here - how the light scatters in the fog. You strength is clearly in composition/shading/colour ... and painting crows (or are they ravens ?)

Not to be mean, however, the figure still needs a bit of massage. There is something about the portrait -something to do with the legs which makes her her look as though she's leaning forward. Work on that a bit.

Oh, I love the mood in your paintings! That creepy gothic feel. And the crow in the foreground is amazing.
